Ictus is developing Sentanate — a micro-swarm dispersal munition system. Carrier-launched, AI-coordinated, impact-triggered. Precision at scales conventional weapons cannot reach.

of strikes.

Sentanate is a carrier munition that disperses a swarm of 1–5mm autonomous microbots on impact or at a set altitude. Each unit lands, moves to an optimal position under AI coordination, and detonates on proximity contact.

The result is precision area effect at a scale and resolution no conventional munition can achieve — without the collateral footprint of traditional area weapons.

What we're building

R&D–01
Microbot Hardware
1–5mm autonomous units with onboard sensors, locomotion, and proximity trigger. Shock-hardened to survive carrier ejection and landing impact.

Dispersal Mechanism
Carrier casing engineered for controlled microbot release at altitude or on soft impact. Spring-ejection or pyrotechnic burst dispersal across target area.

R&D–03
Swarm Mesh Network
Short-range encrypted inter-unit communication. Units locate each other post-dispersal, share position data, and coordinate formation before detonation.

R&D–04
AI Coordination Layer
Onboard and ground-station AI calculates optimal detonation formation from live unit position data. Triggers when configuration is confirmed.

Our approach

Conventional munitions go where physics sends them. Sentanate goes where the AI sends it — after landing. The repositioning step between dispersal and detonation is the core invention. No existing system does this.

We are building the locomotion, mesh coordination, and AI layer in parallel — because they cannot be designed independently of each other. The unit size constrains the antenna. The antenna constrains the mesh protocol. The mesh protocol constrains the AI response time.

Ictus is currently in active R&D. Our first milestone is a working inert prototype — units that survive ejection, move, coordinate, and trigger correctly with a dummy payload. That demonstrator is what opens the door to licensed payload integration with institutional defence partners.

We are open to collaboration with defence institutions, research partners, and allied governments who understand that the next decisive advantage will not be visible to the naked eye.
